Business Development Associate
Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports to: President and Marketing Director
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Associate is responsible for growing the company in accordance with corporate objectives (i.e., revenue & profit targets, growth initiatives, etc.). This Manager will serve as the main sales contact point for prospects and the sales account manager for the company’s new and existing customers.

This Manager will serve as the main sales contact point for prospects and the sales account manager for the company’s new and existing customers.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Be self-disciplined, a self-starter and must have strong organizational skills.
- Acknowledge and adhere to all Duct Dynasty’s Values and Mission Statement.
- Become knowledgeable about services and products provided by company.
- Be highly motivated and professional with an ability to develop and cultivate strong relationships.
- Develop qualified leads and convert those leads through the sales process into prospects and customers.
- Propose and negotiate prices and terms of projects.
- Collaborate with other Team members to ensure that operations run smoothly with each project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must perform a minimum of least ten (10) qualified visits with existing clients and or new prospects per week.
- Set up meetings with decision makers in the Facilities, Construction or Healthcare Industries.
- Must have experience working with CRM.
- Organize and conduct monthly lunch and learns to new clients or prospects.
- Regularly attend ABC, BOMA, FALA and FHEA meetings and is involved in a committee associated with at least one organization listed.
- Collaborates with field staff and marketing associates on a regular basis for client follow up and potential lead sources.
- Attends weekly Sales and Marketing meetings and provides activity and sales reports.
- Inputs all sales activity, upcoming scheduled events, after hours events and appointments in HCP daily.
- Assists with all trade shows and sponsored events that the company is involved with.
- Produces a minimum of two (2) Purchase Orders per month.
- Establishes a minimum of three (3) new accounts per month.
- Grows existing and assigned client revenue account by twelve percent (12%) per year.
